Payment for vehicles, parts and services should be made via Paypal. We have enjoyed a very good relationship with Paypal services and will continue to use them until a better service comes along. On larger tank purchases, we provide the customer with the option of wiring monies directly into our account. See below for bank wire information. If Paypal is utilized, we do require a 3.4% fee on all purchases up to $3000.00. We regret having to do so but this is what Paypal charges us.

International and US Postal Money Orders are gladly accepted but we do ask that customers indicate that they are using this form of payment. Orders cannot be shipped until the IPMO has cleared our bank.
Paypal payments must be received within three business days after placing your order. We cannot hold or reserve parts for a customer unless a non refundable deposit or payment is received.
Orders are generally shipped out at the end of each week. We ship our domestic parts orders via Priority Post whereby each customer is provided with tracking numbers and confirmation of the shipment date. This has worked very well for us in the past. International shipments are made via Global Priority, UPS or TNT which ever one is the cheapest. Tank shipments generally arrive within the United States in 7-10 working days after leaving the United Kingdom. Each shipment is fully insured for the total value of the tank, and all parts and accessories.
Steel Dragons carries a number of unique parts, vehicles and accessories that are often handmade by individuals working out of their garage or very modest production facilities. These same items are often produced in limited number whereby it is impossible to accurately determine the exact time or date that they will be ready for shipment. Keeping an active inventory of some of these parts simply is not possible nor practical in this uncertain economy. Furthermore, these parts may come from any number of sources outside of the US whereby transoceanic shipping and processing through customs can add further delays.
While we try to do our best at estimating an ETA for these parts, delays and backorders are simply a reality in this business/market. It is not unusual that advance payment or deposits are required in order to confirm your order. We do business only with credible craftsman and individuals with whom we have an established relationship with. In most cases, it is not possible to cancel an order once a payment has been received and the order has been placed with the craftsman. This applies to both parts and vehicles. See "Return Policy".
We will do our best to keep you informed but please be advised that some parts- Panther bins, Tiger tool boxes and turret pannier boxes, Panther tool sets, animatronic figures, RKD Halftracks and Maybach motors for example- can take months to complete. The results are almost always worth the wait but some customers are not always receptive to waiting.
Return Policy
At present, Steel Dragons does not offer a return policy on parts purchased through us unless the item was irreparably damaged during delivery. In this event, customers must contact the shipper (UPS, FEDEX or USPS for example) to file a claim but only if insurance was purchased prior to shipping. We strongly advise our customers especially on larger orders to purchase shipping insurance. Many of our part orders are shipped via Priority Post which carries limited insurance benefits but cannot always protect the consumer in the event the order is lost.
When purchasing a vehicle, special order part or AFV Kit from us (M5 Stuarts etc) we do not accept returns under any circumstances. We require insurance on all vehicle purchases in order to insure that the everyone's best interests are upheld. We cannot guaranty safe delivery and if your vehicle is damaged upon arrival, you must file a claim with the shipping company. They will determine what happens next and whether or not your claim will be honored.
As previously outlined, many of our parts and vehicles are of a specialty nature and are made to order. These items include but are not limited to Panther mudguards, Tiger pannier boxes, Maybach motors, any custom made accessory, Sd Ah trailers, Panther tool sets, Spearhead, and any Field of Armor, RKD Vehicle or Battle Ready Armor vehicles bought directly through us.
We strongly urge the customer to consider their purchase carefully with the understanding that we cannot accept returned goods in the event they change their minds for any reason, or their spouses unexpectedly discovered their acquisition.
